All pupils and members of staff demonstrate our school vision, mission and values in everything that they do.
Vision: For all pupils to fulfil their God-given talents and aspire to achieve a university education.
Mission: To ensure each child receives a balanced intellectual, spiritual, social, cultural, emotional and physical education. This is in harmony with our denominational standards and ideals. With God as the source of all moral value and truth we aspire to prepare our pupils for life.
Values: Love, Learning and Laughter.
We are a caring, Christian community, whose values are built on mutual trust and respect for all, according to the teachings of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Every member of the school community has the right to feel valued and respected. Every individual will be treated fairly and well.
Expectations around behaviour
The school's behaviour expectations are taken from the teachings of Christ. Our expectations reflect key passages from the Bible. Each behaviour expectation is broken down into a series of behaviours that we expect all adults and children to demonstrate.
Our behaviour expectations are:
1. In everything that you do, treat others as you would have them treat you.
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. (Matthew 7:12)
By following this expectations, adults will:
-
Treat every pupil as if they were their own son or daughter.
By following this expectations, children will:
- Always use their manners
- Smile at each other
- Praise each other
- Use kind words
- Be gentle and caring
- Help others to improve
2. Try your very best all of the time.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. (Corinthians 1: 31)

3. Forgive and forget.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (Matthew 6 14-15)
