Hall Green Family Hub

Services and Activities for Families

The Hall Green Family Hub offers a wide range of free and low-cost services, activities and support for children, parents, carers and families across the local community.

Delivered through Springfield Project and Together St Paul's Trust, the programme includes:

  • Stay & Play sessions for babies, toddlers and preschool children.
  • SEND support groups and specialist activities.
  • Parenting programmes and family wellbeing sessions.
  • School readiness and early language support.
  • Speech and language therapy referrals.
  • Creative English and IT skills sessions.
  • Healthy lifestyle, cooking and wellbeing groups.
  • Antenatal and new parent support.
  • Housing and benefits advice.
  • Volunteering opportunities for parents and carers.

Families can also access helpful digital resources including:

  • Birmingham Family Hub App.
  • EasyPeasy parenting App.
  • DadPad for new fathers.
  • "50 Things To Do" family activity programme.

Family Voices and Community Events

Parents and carers are invited to take part in Family Voices events, helping to shape local family services while connecting with other families in the community. Regular baby shower events and family engagement activities are also available throughout the year.

Nursery and Farm Facilities

The service also operates:

  • St Paul's Nursery
  • Park Road Nursery
  • Mini Springers Nursery
  • Balsall Heath City Farm

These provide early years education, outdoor learning opportunities and family-friendly activities for local children.

Support for Families

Family Support Workers are available Monday to Friday (9:00am-5:00pm) for families with children aged 0-19 years, or up to 25 years for young people with SEND.
